1. About Pistons.AE

Pistons.AE is an online marketplace for buying and selling cars and automotive parts in the UAE. We also provide community forums, a garage directory, and related automotive services. We act as a platform connecting buyers and sellers — we are not a party to any transaction between users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pistons.AE. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@pistons.ae if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Listings

When you post a listing on Pistons.AE, you agree that:

• All information provided is accurate and not misleading
• You are the legal owner of the vehicle or item being listed, or are authorised to sell it
• The listing does not violate any UAE laws or regulations
• You will not post the same vehicle or item in multiple listings simultaneously
• Pricing is in UAE Dirhams (AED) and accurately reflects the asking price
• Photos are of the actual item being sold and are not stolen from other listings

5. Prohibited Content

You may not use Pistons.AE to post or share:

• Fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings
• Stolen vehicles or parts
• Items that are illegal to sell in the UAE
• Spam, unsolicited advertisements, or duplicate listings
• Content that is abusive, threatening, or harassing to other users
• Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others

6. Forums and Community

Our forums and community features are provided for automotive discussion and must be used respectfully. You agree not to post spam, hate speech, misinformation, or content unrelated to automotive topics. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules and to suspend or ban accounts that repeatedly violate community standards.

7. Garage Directory

Reviews and ratings posted in the Garage Directory must be genuine and based on real experiences. Fake reviews, paid reviews, or reviews intended to harm a competitor’s reputation are strictly prohibited.

8. Transactions

Pistons.AE is a platform only. We do not facilitate payments, guarantee the condition of vehicles or parts, or take responsibility for any transaction between buyers and sellers. We strongly recommend meeting in a safe, public location and having vehicles inspected before purchase.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on Pistons.AE, including our logo, design, and platform features, is owned by Pistons.AE. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission. By posting content on our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content on our site.

10. Limitation of Liability

Pistons.AE is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses arising from your use of the platform, including losses from transactions with other users, inaccurate listings, or platform downtime.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from your use of Pistons.AE shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Pistons.AE after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
