A 987 Cayman S, built into a widebody safari car by Zeus Offroad in Dubai. The 3.4 flat six and the six speed manual stay where Porsche put them, behind the seats. Around that, long travel coilovers, a wider body, recovery points front and rear, a skid plate under the nose, and the radiators repositioned into the front boot where stones cannot find them. The work runs past AED 123,000 in documented receipts before you count the car. GCC, 177,000 km. Registered, road legal, RTA approved as a build.

Why this car:
Porsche put its name to the safari 911 with the Dakar. This is the mid engine version of the idea, and it was not bought finished. It was built, by name, here in Dubai. A mid engine widebody safari Cayman is a rarer thing than another raised 911, and this one is on the road and sorted.

Provenance and paperwork:

GCC car, delivered and used in the UAE. RTA committee approval for the build held in the file. Two keys. Partial and recent service records, the full build invoice file, the RTA paperwork and the original parts removed in the build all stay with the car. VIN and the complete file available to a serious buyer on request.
Condition

A 177,000 km driver, represented as exactly that. The 3.4 pulls strong, the six speed shifts clean, the car presents honestly for the distance. The IMS bearing is the original unit and has given no trouble, disclosed openly. One minor rear accident on record, repaired at the Porsche agency, with no impact to the frame or chassis. Cooling holds temperature in traffic and the AC blows cold. A pre purchase inspection at any Porsche specialist is welcome.

A note on use:

This is a safari car, not a dune basher. Built for graded tracks, gravel and fire roads, the fast loose surfaces a rally car lives on. Deep desert and dune bashing is another discipline on another vehicle, and we would not represent it as that.

The documented build runs past AED 123,000 before the car, with more on top, unpriced. Offered at AED 180,000, the lot. Inspection by appointment. VIN and full file on request.
